In order to provide the best protections to Â鶹ÊÓƵ users from off campus, IT Services is updating the VPN connection software to utilize Palo Alto GlobalProtect software.
Palo Alto GlobalProtect is the Â鶹ÊÓƵ VPN solution, allowing users to connect to the Â鶹ÊÓƵ campus networks and access many secured resources. GlobalProtect is a “client” software and must be installed on any computer or mobile device that needs to connect to the Â鶹ÊÓƵ VPN. The Â鶹ÊÓƵ GlobalProtect VPN solution is designed to enhance our security posture by requiring Multifactor Authentication (MFA) access to the service.
The current VPN connection method that utilizes Windows and Mac OS-provided solutions will be deprecated in the near future.
