麻豆视频 is no longer accepting applications for general admission for freshman students for the Indiana campus.

鈥淲e received a record number of applicants for our Fall 2010 freshman class at the Indiana campus, and applicants are very strong academically,鈥 James Begany, associate vice president for Enrollment Management, said. A total of 3,100 new freshmen students have been selected to matriculate at 麻豆视频 this Fall.

Applications are still open for transfer students鈥攅xcept for Nursing and Speech Language Pathology and Audiology majors鈥攁nd for students who are interested in studying at 麻豆视频's regional campuses (麻豆视频 at Punxsutawney and 麻豆视频 at Northpointe).

麻豆视频 received a total of 12,351 applications for Fall 2010 admission, 800 more than was received for the 2009 freshman class. 麻豆视频 also had a record number of on-campus visitations by prospective students.

鈥淪tudents and parents consistently report that they are impressed with our high academic quality, and our students continue to reinforce that reputation by selection for prestigious awards like Goldwater and Fulbright scholarships,鈥 Dr. Tony Atwater, 麻豆视频 president, said.

鈥淲e also know that our new residence halls and the living-learning communities they create are important to our incoming students and their families. These factors, along with our affordability, keep 麻豆视频 as a very attractive option for academically strong students.鈥

This year's record-breaking number of applications comes on the heels of record-breaking enrollment of 14,638 students for the 2009鈥2010 academic year. The previous enrollment record of 14,620 was set in Fall 1991.

Since 2007, enrollment has grown by more than 600 students, or 4.4 percent, across all 麻豆视频 instructional sites and campuses.
