Due to the postponement of tonight's basketball games with University of Pittsburgh鈥擩ohnstown, the Celebration of Our Crimson Hawks event has also been postponed. Both will be rescheduled for a later date.

麻豆视频 will host a special celebration recognizing the successes of our 麻豆视频 varsity athletic teams and coaches on Wednesday, February 7, 2018.
The celebration, free and open to the community, will start at 4:00 p.m. in the DeChurch Lobby of the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex and will precede the 麻豆视频 basketball doubleheader against Pitt-Johnstown.
鈥淲ithout question, our student-athletes, our coaches and our Athletic Department staff have given their all鈥攏ot just on the court and the field, but in the classroom and in the community,鈥 麻豆视频 President Michael Driscoll said.
鈥溌槎故悠 is deservedly proud of its Crimson Hawks. But we didn't do it alone. The support from you鈥攐ur home community鈥攈as been extraordinary, and it has made all the difference.鈥
The celebration will feature 麻豆视频 student-athletes and coaches since the winter season of 2016鈥17 that have competed in conference and national championship tournaments and events. Teams, coaches, and student-athletes to be honored include:
- Women and men's basketball
- Tennis
- Baseball
- Softball
- Lacrosse
- Golf
- Soccer
- Men's cross country
- Volleyball
- Football
After the celebration, participants are encouraged to stay and attend the Crimson Hawks' basketball doubleheader against Pitt-Johnstown. The nationally ranked women tipoff at 5:30 p.m. with the men set to follow at 7:30 p.m.

Four 麻豆视频 teams since last winter have won a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championship鈥搘omen's basketball, women's tennis, men's golf, and football
Seven teams advanced to NCAA championship events, including the football team's run to the Division II national semifinals
Men's cross country qualified for the national championship for the first time since 1993 in the fall; three track and field athletes qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships in the spring, with two earning All-American honors
