SAHE Class of ’26 hosting the National Student Employment Week Celebration
The Student Affairs in Higher Education graduate students hosted the second annual National Student Employment Week Celebration at Â鶹ÊÓƵ on Tuesday, April 14. All student employees working on campus were invited to this drop-in event. Those attending were asked to write down the best things about their on-campus jobs, and most of them highlighted the great people they work with and for, along with scheduling flexibility and the learning opportunities available.
The event was a class project in the SAHE 733: Management of Organizational Behavior course taken by second-year master’s students in the Student Affairs in Higher Education program. SAHE students solicited gift cards from local businesses for a raffle, and the Division of Student Affairs provided snacks for attendees.
Raffle winners were: Reia Sanchez (Co-op Store gift card); Isabella Yuha (Starbucks gift card); Autumn Reed (Walmart gift card); Gabrielle Harper (Walmart gift card); Dasha Hammon (Walmart gift card); and Antonia Bondi (Walmart gift card).
