Susan Graham (she/her/hers) is the clinical case manager for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. Her office is located in the Counseling Center. She is the first person to hold this position at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.
Susan's responsibilities include connecting students with needed resources and services both on campus and in the community, and assisting students in transitioning back to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ upon discharge from inpatient hospitalization. She consults with faculty, staff, and parents regarding student needs. Susan's goal is to remove barriers so that students can be successful while at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.
She is a certified Green Dot Bystander Intervention Program instructor and a member of the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Green Dot Advisory Committee. She is Safe Zone and Ally trained. Prior to this, she held the position of sexual violence prevention educator for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's Haven Project, the department responsible for educating the campus community on the issues of sexual violence, domestic/dating violence, stalking, consent, human trafficking, healthy/unhealthy relationships, and bystander intervention.
Before coming to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, she worked as a drug and alcohol counselor and case manager in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has worked as a crisis intervention specialist.
Susan holds a BA in psychology from the Pennsylvania State University and an MEd in counselor education from the University of Virginia.
