Like grants, scholarships are a type of financial aid that you won't have to pay back.
How do you get started?
1. Apply to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ—and You'll Be Automatically Considered for Academic Scholarships
Just by applying to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ by May 15, you are automatically considered for academic scholarships through the admissions office. You will be notified if you are selected within just a few weeks after your admission.
2. Take Advantage of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's List of Outside Scholarships
See Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's list of Outside Scholarships to find more opportunities for scholarships. Don't pass up your chance to apply!
3. Check with Guidance Counselors, Local Clubs, and Outside Organizations
There are lots of scholarships awarded each year in hometowns. These include community groups, garden clubs, music clubs, and other organizations. High school guidance counselors are a great resource and often maintain a list of local scholarship opportunities—be sure to ask!
4. Explore Scholarship Search Sites
There are a number of reputable scholarship search websites—check them out for more leads.
