Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s official mascot, the Crimson Hawk, is named Norm! Norm gets his name from Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s roots. Â鶹ÊÓƵ was initially named “Indiana Normal School” in 1875, then changing to “Indiana State College” in 1959, and finally “Â鶹ÊÓƵ” in 1965 after achieving university status.
