To Run a Security Scan on Windows Devices

1. Click the magnifying glass (search icon).
2. In the search bar, type "windows security."
3. Click the search result.
4. Click Open Windows Defender Security Center
5. Click Virus and Threat Protection
6. Click Run a New Advanced Scan
7. Click the Full Scan option and click Scan Now

Turn on Windows Defender for Windows 10

1. Select the Start button
2. Click on the Settings icon (gear icon)
3. Click on Update & Security, Windows Security, then Virus & Threat Protection
4. Follow through one of the following options:
   1. In the current version of Windows 10, select Manage Settings, and then switch the Real-Time Protection setting to On or Off.
   2. In previous versions of Windows 10, switch the Real-Time Protection setting to On or Off.
