William Culp and Painting

Dr. William H. Culp established a fund with the Foundation for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ for the purpose of endowing the William H. Culp Library Collection for Transpersonal Psychology. The gift will support the purchase of materials for the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Libraries benefiting students and faculty studying transpersonal psychology and counseling.

Dr. Culp graduated from Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ in 1957 with a B.S. in Mathematics Education. Upon his return from service in the Korean Conflict, Dr. Culp pursued his interests in psychology and counseling, completing an M.S. at Southern Illinois University and an Ed.D. at West Virginia University. He taught at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ in the Counselor Education program from 1975 until his retirement in 1993. Dr. Culp opened a transpersonal retreat center, Intraconnections, near Delmont , Pa., and has served as president of the Pennsylvania Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling.
