All members of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ community are invited to attend the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce's Business After Hours event “A Walk Back Through Time” on Thursday, October 1, 2009, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the University Museum, Sutton Hall, Room 111.

The University Museum, in cooperation with Â鶹ÊÓƵ Special Collections and University Archives and the Institute for Mine Maps and Archival Procedures and Safety are sponsors of the museum's fall exhibit, “A Walk Through Time: Pennsylvania Coal Culture Featuring the Rochester & Pittsburgh Coal Company Collections.”

Artifacts and documents of coal mining life in Western Pennsylvania are presented by Â鶹ÊÓƵ Special Collections and University Archives, the Tri-Area Historical Society and Liberty Museum in Nanty Glo, the Historical and Genealogical Society of Indiana County, and private collectors.
