Another 37 Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Members Earn ACUE Course Badges

Funded by Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's Title III grant and organized by the University College's Title III Grant Program, ACUE courses continue to add valuable professional development to the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ community. Two courses were offered this summer: "Fostering a Culture of Belonging" and "Designing Student-Centered and Equitable Courses."

Another 14 Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Employees Complete Life Design Studio Training

14 members of the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ community completed the June Virtual Life Design Studio training this summer, bringing the total to 24. Life Design is being infused into several aspects of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students' learning experience, such as the Career and Professional Development Center's programming and our new UNIV 101: First Year Learning course.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Inspires Students with GEAR UP Summer Program

In July, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ hosted students from the Pottstown and Norristown school districts for a summer camp through the Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) program.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Psychology Major Jones Awarded PA-NOSS Scholarship

The Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Organization for Student Success awarded Marquice Jones, an Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ psychology major from Harrisburg, a $500 scholarship for academic achievements.

Summer Bridge Program Kicks Off: Helping New Students Improve Their Math Skills and Placement

This year’s Summer Bridge Program is for newly admitted undergraduate Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students whose ALEKS (math) score is below the minimum needed to enroll in their major’s math requirement and who want to improve their math skills over the summer with the goal of saving time and money.

Open House Welcomes All to New Navigator Space

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to kick off the spring semester with the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Navigators at an open house in our brand-new workspace! Come and visit us on Friday, January 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and enjoy free pastries and hot beverages while you check out the new home of the Navigators on the ground floor of Stapleton Library.
